Lily commenced in banking at a very early age where she eventually progressed to Corporate Lending with Colonial State Bank of NSW located at Lane Cove, and later Penrith, NSW. This position exposed Lily to the SME market and found that her passion was to assist customers to grow their business. Lily found that accountants focused on the annual compliance work and didn’t get hands on with their clients. Subsequently, Lily attended University of Western Sydney to complete a Bachelor of Commerce major Accounting degree fulltime. Lily then returned to Melbourne in her early 30’s and commenced in the Chartered Accounting Profession.
Lily now has over 18 years experience in Public Practice, trained in the 2nd tier market in Melbourne; Lily progressed to a Partner after just 6 years in the profession. Her partnership at Manning + Perry exposed Lily to the SME market providing Taxation and Business advice.
Lily furthered her studies with the MBA at AGSM which challenged her to think laterally with businesses to overcome obstacles.
Being an entrenepeur Lily decided to establish her own practice in February 2008. LiMA want to work for the clients and get hands on, ensure clients understand their obligations and why profits do not equal cash in the bank, and finally to celebrate success.
